Blessed be the space
You occupy
And have occupied
Blessed be the family
You know and love
And will love eternally.
Blessed be the heart
You possess and nurture
That has given life and
Purpose to those around you
Blessed be the friends who
Come to your aid, and the aid
Of your family
Blessed be the friends to whom
You have given your love,
Your friendship and your presence
All the blessings
You have received and given
Are known to your God
Who sends uncounted blessings
Upon you
For your life
For all your gifts,
Seen and unseen.
It is a Force of Love
Which formed the universe
And all that it contains
Even what you can not
See or feel.
Especially at times of darkness
The nighttime of illness and loss
Of despair and loneliness.
It is the presence of enduring
Love and Life
The bright light of togetherness
And lovingkindness
That binds you
To the Eternal Presence.
That will never leave you.
